LUYOR® UV BLOCKING ACRYLIC GRADE SHEETS are specialist grades of LUYOR® cast acrylic with UV light absorbing qualities.
UV BLOCKING ACRYLIC GRADE SHEETS is a transparent, clear cast acrylic sheet with integral UV protection and is suitable for specialist glazing applications, display cases and museums and art galleries who wish to protect any exhibits from most damaging UV light. It offer a slightly lower level of UV protection than VE grade LUYOR but has better optical characteristics and has no tint or hue. LUYOR VA Grade sheet blocks 99% of UV light with wavelengths of 250–385nm
UV BLOCKING ACRYLIC GRADE SHEETS is also exceptionally tough: it has 5 times the impact strength of glass and is half the weight.
Available in 3mm and 5mm thickness. The surface finish is a gloss finish on both sides. Shipped with a protective coating on both sides. We also offer a cut-to-size service for any other panel size required.
